Descripción:Stanniocalcin-1 is a protein that belongs to the stanniocalcin family of proteins. It is expressed by a variety of tissues and has been shown to have chemotactic, pleiotropic, and adipogenic effects. Stanniocalcin-1 also regulates luteinization and homologous differentiation in cells. The recombinant form of this protein has been shown to stimulate the growth of cells in culture with high levels of expression. Additives such as deionized water and chromatographic techniques can be used to purify this protein.
