It has been shown to inhibit the activation of mTOR by FKBP-rapamycin complex and its downstream signaling. ST1936 is an antibody that binds to the active site of human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) with high affinity and specificity, inhibiting receptor tyrosine kinase activity. It has been shown to be a useful research tool for studying EGFR function in cell biology, as well as for developing antibodies against EGFR in cancer therapy.
