Descripción:Ml 120b dihydrochloride (Ml120b) is a small molecule drug that can be used to treat non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. Ml120b inhibits the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) pathway by binding and inhibiting the IκB kinase, which is an enzyme involved in NF-κB activation. Ml120b also has other effects on the liver, such as modulating enzymes involved in lipid metabolism and inflammatory damage. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is characterized by fat accumulation in hepatocytes, inflammation and damage to the liver cells. NAFLD can lead to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, a more serious form of the disease with inflammation and damage to the liver cells.
