Descripción:ONC212 is a potent anti-cancer agent with transcriptional regulatory activity. ONC212 has been shown to have potent antitumor activity against skin cancer in vivo. The compound also showed synergistic effects in vitro when combined with other chemotherapeutic drugs, such as dopamine or 5-fluorouracil. It has been shown that ONC212 interacts with the cell membrane, which may be due to its ability to inhibit energy metabolism and induce apoptosis in malignant brain cells. Furthermore, ONC212 was found to be a potent inducer of cell death in cancer cells and shows biological properties that are relevant for the treatment of cancer.
