Descripción:1-Amino-3,3-dimethyl-butan-2-one hydrochloride is a carboxamide that inhibits the cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) and is used to treat immune diseases. It has been shown to inhibit the production of nitric oxide by inhibiting the enzyme nitric oxide synthase. 1-Amino-3,3-dimethyl-butan-2-one hydrochloride also inhibits the activity of kinases that are important for cell division and proliferation. This drug was also found to have anti cancer properties as it prevents cells from dividing. The drug binds to an aromatic ring system in proteins and blocks the activity of enzymes that are responsible for protein synthesis.
