Descripción:2-Bromo-1,1-dimethoxypropane is a chiral compound that has been shown to inhibit the enzymatic activity of tyrosine kinase. This inhibition can be reversed by adding cyclosporin A, which blocks the binding of ATP and 2-Bromo-1,1-dimethoxypropane to the enzyme. The bioactivity of this compound has been demonstrated in cancer cells where it inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis through the activation of caspases. This agent has also been shown to be a chemoenzymatic for peptidomimetics and polymer conjugates.
