• Descripción: Dunnione is a reactive chemical pesticide that has been shown to be reactive with cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity in mouse cells. Dunnione has also been shown to have the ability to inhibit cell factor-dependent lymphocyte proliferation and induce apoptosis in prostate cancer cells. The mechanism of action for dunnione is not yet fully understood, but it may involve inhibition of fatty acid metabolism and the redox cycle. Dunnione has also been shown to have pharmacological effects on cardiac tissue and pancreatitis.
