Información del producto
2-(2-Aminoethyl)-3-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine is a bioactive moiety that has been shown to have anti-cancer activity. It was synthesized by reacting 2,4-dichloropyrimidine with a chlorinating agent and then reacting the resulting product with ammonia. The x-ray diffraction analysis of 2-(2-aminoethyl)-3-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine showed an intense peak at 6.9 Å, which is the distance between two atoms in the molecule. 2-(2-Aminoethyl)-3-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine has been shown to inhibit proliferation of cancer cells by inhibiting the cellular machinery responsible for DNA synthesis and repair. This drug also has lipophilic properties, which allow it to penetrate through cell membranes and enter into cells
