Información del producto
- 1,4-Bis(Bromomethyl)Naphthalene
Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon with two benzene rings. It contains a methyl group at one of the positions on the ring and one or more hydroxyl groups. The 1,4-Bis(bromomethyl)naphthalene (contains isomer) is a derivative of naphthalene that has been synthesized by the reaction of trifluoroacetic acid with naphthalene. Naphthalene is an important precursor for many other compounds and has been used in research as a model molecule for studying cell adhesion to lectins, glycoside derivatives, and metal ions. Naphthalene derivatives have been shown to be cytotoxic against human carcinoma cells and may also inhibit viral replication.
