• Descripción: Ipramidil is a pharmaceutical drug that has been used to treat cardiac arrhythmia and ventricular dysfunction. It is a soluble guanylate cyclase activator that increases the level of cGMP in cardiac and vascular cells, which leads to an increase in blood flow. Ipramidil has been shown to be effective at treating symptoms of congestive heart failure by improving the contractility of the heart muscles and increasing blood flow through the body. Ipramidil may also be used as a diagnostic aid for fatty acid metabolism, as hydrogen tartrate is one of its major excipients. Reconstituted ipramidil tablets are administered orally or intravenously. The recommended dose is 1mg/kg (2mg/kg for patients with congestive heart failure).
