9-Cyclopropyl-3-phenanthrenecarboxylic acid (CPPC) is a potentiating agent that enhances the effects of other drugs. It has been shown to have inhibitory effects on acetylcholinesterase, which is an enzyme that breaks down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. CPPC also has potentiating effects on the binding of naphthalene, a potent regulatory agent.
