ILK-IN-2 is a molecule that inhibits autophagy in leukemia cells. It has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the growth of meningioma and lymphocytic leukemia cells. ILK-IN-2 has also shown inhibitory properties against chronic lymphocytic leukemia and primary cells, which may be due to its ability to induce apoptosis by activating proapoptotic molecules such as Bax, Bak, and caspase-3. In addition, ILK-IN-2 has demonstrated anti-inflammatory properties that may lead to its use in autoimmune diseases.
