Información del producto
2-[(1E)-2-Phenylethenyl]-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-one is a cyanuric acid derivative that inhibits the serine protease elastase by nucleophilic attack. It has been shown to be an inhibitor of elastase and other serine proteases as well. 2-[(1E)-2-Phenylethenyl]-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-one is synthesized by reacting the amino acid serine with dimethylformamide in the presence of methanesulfonic acid. This compound can be found in crystalline cellulose. The synthesis of this product requires chloroacetic acid and sodium hydroxide as well.
