Descripción:2-Octyl cyanoacrylate is a cyanoacrylate adhesive that is used to prepare samples for histological analysis. It has been shown to be effective for the treatment of congenital heart disease in mice, with statistically significant results. 2-Octyl cyanoacrylate is also an effective skin adhesive when used in combination with benzalkonium chloride and water vapor. This adhesive was found to have long-term efficacy, with statistically significant results. Further, 2-octyl cyanoacrylate has been shown to be safe and efficacious on both animal models and human skin samples in vivo. Histological analysis of the tissue showed that the material was not toxic or cytotoxic, and it did not cause any adverse effects on the cells or tissues studied.
