N,2-Dihydroxy-4-methylbenzamide (DHMB) is a ligand that has been shown to bind to the covid-19 receptor. Covid-19 is a protein that is involved in the immune system and is important for the development of antiviral responses. The magnetic properties of DHMB are due to the presence of two ferric ions. These ions are found in close proximity to each other, which results in an attraction between them and a corresponding increase in magnetic properties when compared with DHMB molecules that do not contain these ions.
