Descripción:Cyclopropylthiazole is a potent allosteric modulator that binds to the allosteric site of the GABA-A receptor. It has been shown to have a high affinity for this site and can be used as a potential therapeutic drug for neurological disorders. Cyclopropylthiazole has been shown to bind to brain proteins, including alpha-synuclein, which may provide an explanation for its neuroprotective properties. This compound is able to inhibit the growth of cells with low metabolic stability in vitro (e.g., cancer cells) and also stimulates the proliferation of cells that are not affected by it in vivo (e.g., neurons).
