BRD32048 is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of oncoproteins and has been shown to have cytotoxic effects against glioma cells. BRD32048 is an acetylated compound, which is able to inhibit the activation or modulate the biological function of molecules by binding to their acetylation sites. This drug can be used as a pharmacological and cancer chemotherapeutic agent for pediatric patients with genetically-defined cancers.
BRD32048 has been shown to block prometaphase and hyperproliferation in tumor cells, which may lead to tumor regression.
