Descripción:MCOPPB is a novel analgesic that has been shown to have antinociceptive properties in vivo. This compound has also been shown to have an effect on locomotor activity, as well as analgesic effects in chronic neuropathic pain models. MCOPPB is a novel chemical entity and acts at the μ-opioid receptor, which is different from other known opioids. The clinical data for this drug show that it has potential for the treatment of chronic pain syndromes, such as neuropathic pain. MCOPPB also has an agonistic effect on the δ-opioid receptor, which may be responsible for its ability to reduce pain hypersensitivity.
