Descripción:SW063058 is a molecule that inhibits the activity of lipid kinases. It has been shown to be cytotoxic in vitro and induce autophagy, which may be due to its inhibition of cellular lipid metabolism. SW063058 also has significant cytotoxicity in cancer cells and induces apoptosis by inhibiting the activation of protein kinase B (Akt). The mechanism of action for SW063058 is not well understood but it is thought to inhibit allosteric modulators of lipid kinases, as well as an interaction with the cell membrane.
