Descripción:VER 49009 is a chaperone that binds to the amide group of proteins, inhibiting their function. VER 49009 has been shown to inhibit cancer cells in vitro and in vivo by preventing protein synthesis. This compound also inhibits the production of heat-shock proteins. It can be used for the treatment of cancer, as well as other diseases associated with high levels of heat-shock proteins, such as pediatric cancer.
