Descripción:Tepilamide fumarate is a pharmaceutical preparation that inhibits the inflammatory response in the central nervous system. It has been shown to inhibit microgliosis and neuroinflammation. Tepilamide fumarate might act by preventing the synthesis of arachidonic acid from linoleic acid, which is an important step in the production of prostaglandins and leukotrienes. This drug also decreases nitric oxide production, which may be responsible for its anti-inflammatory effects. Tepilamide fumarate might act as a neuroprotective agent by inhibiting tyrosine kinase activity and nuclear receptor signaling pathways. Tepilamide fumarate is also known to decrease levels of amyloid beta proteins and increase levels of alpha synuclein in the brain, which are markers for Alzheimer's disease.
