CP5V is a peptide inhibitor of Protein interactions. CP5V is an inhibitor of the receptor-associated protein (RAP) and has been shown to inhibit the activity of ion channels in cells. It is a potent inhibitor of RAP, as well as other ligands that bind to RAP, such as L-glutamate and L-aspartate. CP5V has been shown to be a high purity reagent for research purposes with applications in pharmacology, cell biology, and protein interactions. CP5V can be used as an antibody to detect RAP in Western blotting experiments.
