It is a potent inhibitor of RAP, as well as other ligands that bind to RAP, such as L-glutamate and L-aspartate. CP5V has been shown to be a high purity reagent for research purposes with applications in pharmacology, cell biology, and protein interactions. CP5V can be used as an antibody to detect RAP in Western blotting experiments.
