Descripción:3-Isopropylbenzaldehyde is a flavonoid that has been shown to possess anti-inflammatory properties. It binds to the P38 and JNK pathways, which are associated with inflammation, in an animal model and inhibits the production of prostaglandin E2 by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase 2. 3-Isopropylbenzaldehyde also has been shown to inhibit fatty acid biosynthesis, which may be a strategy for treating obesity.
