PBBs are lipophilic substances that can be stored in the body's fat tissue and released over time. This study investigated the relationship between human exposure to PBBs and their congeners, ethers, and putative metabolites in adipose tissue. The results suggest that there may be an association between exposure to PBB congeners and human health and populations.
