Descripción

Nikkomycin Z is a natural compound that belongs to the group of antimicrobial agents. It is an enzyme inhibitor that inhibits protein synthesis by binding to the ribosome and blocking the attachment of amino acids to tRNA. Nikkomycin Z has been shown to be active against many wild-type strains of bacteria, as well as opportunistic fungal infections.
