Descripción:RTC13 is a creatine kinase (CK) analog that is not found in any other CK family. It has been shown to be active against cell-specific CK deficiency, with no effect on other CKs. RTC13 is a purine derivative and as such, it cannot be phosphorylated by CK enzymes. This means that the drug can only inhibit protein synthesis by binding to nuclear hormone receptors, which are involved in transcriptional regulation of gene expression. Clinical studies have shown that RTC13 can improve heart function and eye disorders, as well as reduce skin cancer rates.
