2-Fluoro-5-nitrobenzene-1,4-diamine is an amine that is used as a chemical intermediate. It is also a cyanide salt of 2-fluoro-5-nitrobenzene-1,4-diamine. This compound can be found in the form of two isomers, one with two nitro groups and the other without. The methylcarbazole group has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria such as Salmonella typhimurium and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The metal ion 2+ and inorganic acid 3+ have also been shown to inhibit the growth of both bacteria.
