Imazethapyr-1-hydroxyethyl is a synthetic chemical compound that belongs to the group of antiparasitic, antibiotic, and antibacterial natural products. Imazethapyr-1-hydroxyethyl has been shown to have anti-viral properties against HIV, influenza A virus, and herpes simplex virus type 2. It also inhibits the growth of microbes such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Imazethapyr-1-hydroxyethyl is a potent antifungal agent that has been shown to inhibit Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Candida albicans. The compound is high purity with a purity of 99%.
