Descripción:AG-17724 is a small molecule that activates the transcription factor NF-κB. This activation leads to the production of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines, which are associated with inflammation. AG-17724 has been shown to activate NF-κB in cells by inhibiting protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). It also induces a number of molecular changes that are hallmarks of inflammatory signaling, including modifications to both DNA and protein. These changes activate gene transcription and translation as well as induce the activation of other key molecules involved in inflammation.
