Descripción:PP2 is a member of the PP2A protein phosphatase family. It is an inhibitor of the catalytic subunit of PP1, which is involved in the regulation of cell signaling pathways. This inhibitory effect is achieved by binding to the regulatory subunits of PP1 and competitively inhibiting their ability to bind to the catalytic subunit. The binding site for this inhibitor has been identified as a hydrophobic pocket. The PP2 analogs are used as research tools and activators for antibody production in research laboratories, and can be obtained from commercial suppliers.
