Descripción:Ji051 is an organismal modulator that has been shown to have pharmacologic and neuroprotective effects in vivo. Ji051 can activate autophagy, a process by which cells remove damaged organelles and proteins, reducing the accumulation of these cellular components. It also inhibits cellular senescence and can protect against neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or rhabdomyosarcoma. Ji051 has been shown to reduce the size of tumors in cancer patients. This drug is currently being investigated as a possible therapeutic agent for cardiac muscle diseases and retinoid-induced cardiomyopathy.
