4''-(p-Fluorobenzyl)tylosin A is a synthetic antibiotic and antiviral agent. It is known to have potent anti-microbial, anti-viral and anti-parasitic properties. This drug is used in chemotherapy, as an antimicrobial agent, or to treat infections caused by microorganisms. 4''-(p-Fluorobenzyl)tylosin A inhibits viral replication by inhibiting the activity of RNA polymerase and DNA polymerase. The drug also has significant antibacterial and antifungal properties against bacteria such as Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans.
