Descripción:FFN102 is an analog of fluorescein, a fluorescent dye that is commonly used in histology and cell biology. It has been shown to be a potent dopamine receptor ligand, with high affinity for the D2 receptor. FFN102 also binds to serotonin receptors, albeit with lower affinity. The uptake of FFN102 by retinal neurons was determined using confocal microscopy, where it showed a high concentration in the ventral region of the retina. FFN102 can also bind to other receptors such as alpha-adrenergic and histamine H1 receptors. The binding of FFN102 to these receptors leads to increased neurotransmission and blood pressure regulation.
