Descripción:Dodecyl p-toluenesulfonate is a non-ionic surfactant that is used in the synthesis of nitro, uv-absorbing, and halide compounds. It is also used to synthesize lipids, tosylates, cyanoborohydride, and alkenyl derivatives. Dodecyl p-toluenesulfonate has a structured and hydrophobic property and can be saponified with bases. Dodecyl p-toluenesulfonate can be pegylated or glycerinated in order to increase its water solubility.
