Información del producto
- Tetradec-7-Ene
- (7E)-tetradec-7-ene
7-Tetradecene is a fatty acid that has been shown to have synergistic interactions with homogeneous catalysts. 7-Tetradecene is also used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of other chemicals, such as hydrogen chloride. The activation energy for the formation of 7-tetradecene is 113 kJ/mol. The reaction products are an acid and hydrogen chloride. This reaction mechanism consists of two steps: (1) an ether extraction followed by (2) a metathesis reaction. This process can be broken down into three phases: (1) water, (2) ether extractions, and (3) metathesis reactions.
7-Tetradecene is not soluble in water or ether extractions but is soluble in metathesis reactions.
