Tetrakis[dimethyl(vinyl)silyl] Orthosilicate is a chemical compound with a constant viscosity that is ideal for use as an elastomer. It has been shown to be resistant to temperature changes and has a density of 2.2 g/cm3. The transition temperature is -60 °C. Tetrakis[dimethyl(vinyl)silyl] Orthosilicate can be used as an extender in silicone rubber, polydimethylsiloxane, or other elastomers to increase their viscosity. This product also has magnetic properties and can actuate in response to external stimuli such as strain or solvents. Tetrakis[dimethyl(vinyl)silyl] Orthosilicate is stable at high temperatures (up to 200 °C).
