Descripción:Abarelix is a lipoprotein that is used in the treatment of prostate cancer. It modulates protein synthesis by binding to and inhibiting the activity of l-glutamic acid, which is an amino acid that is involved in the production of proteins, including those that are involved in cancer. Abarelix also binds to synthetic polymers, such as polyvinyl alcohol, which may be used for diagnostic purposes. Abarelix has been shown to have anticancer effects with a low toxicity profile in both animal and human trials.
