Descripción:XMD17-109 is a drug that inhibits the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway, which is a signaling cascade that regulates cell proliferation. This compound has been shown to inhibit the activation of MAPK in response to a variety of extracellular stimuli. XMD17-109 also inhibits the expression of genes involved in cardiovascular diseases, such as angiotensin and cortistatin. XMD17-109 blocks the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells and osteopontin by downregulating α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) and upregulating osteopontin.
