Descripción:
Melamine is a white crystalline solid that belongs to the group of condensation products. Its chemical formula is (NH2)2C6H4ClN. Melamine is used in the manufacture of plastics, adhesives, and paints. It has been shown to have peroxide and epoxide groups, which are reactive in nature. Melamine also reacts with alcohols and thiourea, which leads to its formation of sulphoxides. The hydrogen peroxide present in this product can be reduced by adding an oxidizer such as sodium metabisulfite or sodium sulphite. This product has been optimized for use with hydrogen peroxide at a concentration of 1% (w/v).
