3-[2-Fluoro-5-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-7-methyl-1-[(2-methyl-2H-tetrazol-5-yl)methyl]-1H-indazole is a natural product with antibiotic, antiviral, and antifungal properties. It is a noncompetitive inhibitor of the enzyme DNA polymerase. 3-[2-Fluoro-5-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-7-methyl-1-[(2-methyl-2H-tetrazol-5-yl)methyl]-1H -indazole inhibits the replication of microorganisms by binding to the beta subunit of DNA polymerase.
