PF-6274484 also induces apoptosis in tumor cells by inhibiting the growth factor signal transduction pathway. PF-6274484 has been shown to bind specifically to enteroendocrine cells in the gastrointestinal tract and inhibit their growth. PF-6274484 has been shown to have minimal effects on other mammalian cell types.
