4-[2-(3-Bromophenoxy)ethyl]morpholine is a catalyst that is used to catalyze the coupling of pyrazole compounds. This compound has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of palladium-catalyzed coupling reactions with 2,4-dichlorobenzoyl chloride and other substituted benzoyl chlorides. The catalytic activity of 4-[2-(3-Bromophenoxy)ethyl]morpholine is dependent on microwave irradiation for activation. It can be used as a catalyst system for the synthesis of pyrazole from readily available starting materials.
