Descripción:Aminohexylgeldanamycin is an analog of the antibiotic geldanamycin that has been shown to have potent anticancer activity. It acts as an inhibitor of the heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90), which plays a crucial role in the folding and stabilization of many proteins, including kinases that are involved in cancer cell growth and survival. Aminohexylgeldanamycin induces apoptosis in cancer cells by disrupting Hsp90 function, leading to degradation of client proteins involved in tumor growth and survival. It has been shown to be effective against human cancer cell lines, as well as Chinese hamster ovary cells, and has demonstrated promising results in preclinical studies. Aminohexylgeldanamycin is not active against surfactin or any other bacterial species found in urine.
