Descripción:RGX-104 is a synthetic molecule that can modulate the activity of ABCA1 and is currently being studied for its potential to treat cancer. It has been shown to reduce cholesterol synthesis in cells by interfering with the activation of sterol regulatory element binding protein-1 (SREBP-1) and thereby inhibiting transcriptional regulation. RGX-104 also has anticancer properties, as it inhibits cellular proliferation and resistance in cancer cells. Studies show that RGX-104 decreases tumor growth, induces apoptosis, and inhibits angiogenesis in some cancers. It also shows promise for the treatment of bladder cancer
