Kobusin has been shown to inhibit the growth of hepatitis C virus (HCV) in cell culture. Kobusin also possesses antinociceptive properties, which may be due to its ability to reduce inflammatory disease symptoms and suppress pain-causing substances that are released from nerve endings.
