Descripción:3-(2-(Diisopropylamino)ethyl)-1H-indol-5-ol is a fluorescent probe that is used to analyze urine samples. It has been shown to competitively bind to serotonin and 5-hydroxytryptamine in human urine and can be detected by a fluorescence spectrometer. The linear range of this compound is between 0.5 and 10 micrograms per milliliter, and it has a flow rate of 1 mL/min. 3-(2-(Diisopropylamino)ethyl)-1H-indol-5-ol can be used as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) receptor antagonist in the diagnosis of urinary tract infections (UTI).
