Rac Penbutolol is a beta-adrenergic blocker that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, and arrhythmia. Rac Penbutolol is used for the treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris by blocking the effects of catecholamines on the heart and blood vessels. The drug also decreases peripheral vascular resistance, which lowers blood pressure and reduces cardiac workload. Rac Penbutolol has been shown to be effective in treating atrial fibrillation by slowing conduction through the heart. This drug binds to beta-adrenergic receptors in the heart muscle, causing relaxation of the muscle fibers and preventing them from contracting.
