Información del producto
- Phenol, 4-amino-3-methoxy-
4-Amino-3-methoxyphenol is a phenolic compound found in plants of the Solanaceae family, including black nightshade (S. nigrum). It has been postulated to have antidiabetic, antiinflammatory, and hepatoprotective properties. 4-Amino-3-methoxyphenol is metabolized by conjugation with glucuronic acid and/or sulfate esters. It also undergoes metabolic transformation through a number of metabolic pathways that lead to the production of metabolites such as solasodine and solasonine. These metabolites may be responsible for some of the biological effects observed in vitro and in vivo.
