Información del producto
BC 11-38 is a molecule that has been shown to stabilize cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase. This enzyme is responsible for the breakdown of the second messenger cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) in cells, which is an important regulator of cell function. BC 11-38 has been shown to inhibit cancer cell proliferation and migration in vitro. It also inhibits the growth and metastasis of human breast cancer cells in vivo. In addition, it has been shown to improve cognitive performance by increasing cAMP levels in the brain. BC 11-38 may have potential as a treatment for Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia.
BC 11-38 has been shown to inhibit PDE5 enzymes that cause erection problems such as erectile dysfunction (ED). It is not active against PDE6 enzymes that are involved in color vision defects such as red-green color blindness.
