CP 346086 also shows efficacy in reducing cardiovascular disease risk factors such as hyperlipidemias, hypertension, and diabetic nephropathy. This drug is absorbed from the intestine and is excreted unchanged in the feces. The plasma concentration of this drug increases when taken with food or other lipid-rich substances. CP 346086 may cause liver steatosis, which can lead to hepatic steatosis.
